SYNOPSISmrundlg [-toolkitoption...] [file]
DESCRIPTIONmrundlg pops up a window to prompt the user to type in a command to run.
It provides additional functionaly:
- Allow the user to start the command in an X Terminal Window
- Detect if the command is a URL and start it in a defined browser
OPTIONSmrundlg is build upon Motif/X (Xm) and as such understands all the normal
command line options (as described in X(1)).
WIDGET AND RESOURCE NAMESmrundlg supports all the standard resources of the widgets used in mmore.
No additional resources are defined. Please refer to the application
default file, typically /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/MRunDlg.
ENVIRONMENTmrundlg uses the following environment variables:
XTERM This environment variable is set to the program that will be
used to define the name of the terminal to use when running com‐
mands. The default is xterm.
BROWSER This environment variable is set to the program that will be
used for viewing URLs beginning with "http://", "ftp://",
"www.", and "ftp."
EXAMPLESmrundlg is as simple as running it:
