RPMATCH(3) BSD Programmer's Manual RPMATCH(3)NAME
rpmatch - check user input for confirmation
SYNOPSIS
#define _SVID_SOURCE
#include <stdlib.h>
int
rpmatch(const char *response);
DESCRIPTION
The rpmatch() function is a GNU extension and should not be used in new
code. It is only implemented in MirOS for compatibility reasons. It basi-
cally checks if the response string begins with "Y" or "y", returning 1,
or "N" or "n", returning 0; returning -1 otherwise.
HISTORY
The rpmatch() function was first introduced to BSD in MirOS #10.
