NAMEPXFFASTEXIT - Terminates a Fortran program
SYNOPSIS
SUBROUTINE PXFFASTEXIT (istatus)
INTEGER istatus
IMPLEMENTATION
UNICOS, UNICOS/mk, and IRIX systems
STANDARDS
IEEE standard interface for FORTRAN 77
DESCRIPTION
The PXFFASTEXIT subroutine uses _exit(2) to terminate a process.
PXFFASTEXIT ends the execution of a Fortran program.
The following is the valid argument for this routine:
istatus A default integer input variable containing the status to be
returned to the parent process of the terminated process.
On IRIX systems, this routine is in libfortran.so which is linked by
default when compiling programs with the MIPSpro 7 Fortran 90 compiler
or when compiling programs with the -craylibs option to the MIPSpro
7.2 F77 compiler.
When using the CF90 compiler or MIPSpro 7 Fortran 90 compiler on
UNICOS, UNICOS/mk, or IRIX systems, all arguments must be of default
kind unless documented otherwise. On UNICOS and UNICOS/mk, default
kind is KIND=8 for integer, real, complex, and logical arguments; on
IRIX systems, the default kind is KIND=4.
NOTES
Replace the subroutine reference to EXIT or _exit() with a subroutine
call to PXFFASTEXIT.
EXAMPLES
PROGRAM PXFTEST
INTEGER ISTATUS
IERROr = 2
CALL PXFFASTEXIT(ISTATUS)
!
! PRINT should not be executed if the call to PXFFASTEXIT
! is successful.
!
PRINT *,'FAILED: PXFFASTEXIT CALL RETURNED'
END
