FGETWS(3) BSD Programmer's Manual FGETWS(3)NAMEfgetws - read wide-character string from a stream
SYNOPSIS
#include <stdio.h>
#include <wchar.h>
wchar_t *
fgetws(wchar_t *ws, int n, FILE *stream);
DESCRIPTION
The fgetws() function is similar to the fgets(3) function, but rather
than reading a string of byte sized characters, it uses fgetrune(3) to
read multi-byte characters and convert them into wide-character codes.
RETURN VALUES
The fgetws() function returns ws on success and NULL on error.
SEE ALSOfgetrune(3), fgets(3)BUGS
If an invalid multi-byte sequence is encountered then NULL is returned,
errno is set to EILSEQ and all the valid characters up to that point are
lost. So saith the standard.
