stereo(3G)stereo(3G)NAMEstereo - configures the framebuffer for stereoscopic viewing
FORTRAN 77 SPECIFICATION
subroutine stereoPARAMETERS
none
DESCRIPTIONstereo invokes stereoscopic buffer mode. When stereo is selected in
conjunction with single, two color buffers (left and right) are
allocated. When stereo is selected in conjunction with double, four
color buffers (front-left, front-right, back-left, and back-right) are
allocated.
stereo does not take effect until gconfi is called. If neither monobu
nor stereo is called, gconfi defaults to monoscopic buffer mode.
SEE ALSO
gconfi, monobu, setmon(1G)NOTESstereo configures the framebuffer to store left and right images, but it
does not cause these images to be presented correctly to the viewer.
setmon(1G) must be called to display the stereo images correctly.
When the framebuffer is not configured for stereo display, the left
buffer is displayed.
IRIS-4D G, GT, GTX, VGX, and VGXT models, the Personal Iris, Indy, Indigo
Entry, XL, XS, XS24, XZ, Elan and Extreme systems do not support stereo.
