system default locale
Description
Options for the locale program
can be set or changed
with keywords in /etc/default/locale.
The following keyword is recognized by locale:
LANG-
This keyword defines the system default locale.
If not set, the system default locale is C.
Files
/etc/default/locale-
contains value of the system default locale in the keyword LANG
